You seem pretty interested in what we do…
Ask me anything — branding, websites, marketing. I answer in seconds.

Logo design cost in India runs from about Rs 2,000 to Rs 2 lakh, and the gap is rarely about the drawing itself. It is about what comes wrapped around it: how many ideas you see, whether you own the result, which files you get, and whether anyone thinks about how the mark will be used on a shopfront, an invoice and an app icon. These price bands are indicative ranges for budgeting, not quotes, so treat them as a way to sanity-check an offer.
TL;DR: Rs 2,000 to Rs 10,000 buys a quick mark from a marketplace or student freelancer. Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 buys a proper freelancer or small studio job. Rs 50,000 and up buys a studio or agency identity with research and guidelines. Pick by how much your business will lean on the brand, not by the lowest number.
Because you are rarely buying the same thing. A Rs 2,000 logo is usually a template or a single quick concept, delivered fast, with little discussion. A Rs 2 lakh engagement is usually a brand project: interviews, competitor review, several routes, refinement, and a document that tells your team how to use the result.
Three things drive the spread. Time spent thinking before drawing, how many people touch the work, and what rights and files transfer to you at the end.
Think in four bands, all indicative:
Chennai and other metros sit towards the upper end of each band; smaller cities often sit lower. Ask for a written scope before comparing any two numbers.
Ask these before you pay:
More often than agencies like to admit. If you are testing an idea, running a side project, launching a short-lived campaign or a very small local shop, a simple mark is fine. Spend the money on the product first. You can always redo the brand when the business proves itself, as long as you accept that early customers will see the old one.
When the brand has to do selling work across many places. If you will run ads, ship packaging, build a website and hire staff who need to look consistent, the logo is only one piece. A colour palette, type choices, tone of voice and templates are what make the business look like one company. This is what our identity branding work covers at ZingBizz, and it is the point where paying more usually pays back through fewer redesigns.
Put both on the same sheet and fill in the same rows: number of concepts, revision rounds, file formats, copyright transfer, guidelines, delivery time and who actually does the work. A cheaper quote that leaves half the rows empty is not cheaper. Then ask each supplier for two past projects in a similar size of business, and speak to one of those clients if you can.
A logo costs from about Rs 2,000 for a marketplace job to Rs 2 lakh or more for a full identity project. Most small businesses land between Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000.
Not by default. It is fine for a test or a small local business. It becomes a problem when you need rights, full file sets and consistency across many materials.
Vector source files, transparent and white-background versions, and dark and light variants for web and print.
Only if the agreement says copyright transfers to you. Get that in writing before paying.
